Estuary: that part of the mouth or lower course of a river in which the river’s current meets the sea’s tide. This intertidal mudflat area is regularly brimming with new life it is a veritable nursery for plants fish and birds alike. In turn these supply the food chain that nourishes our circle of being thus such environmental concerns need to be centre of any development plan that will impact this arena of life.
